planes, trains and pirate mobiles!

It's a bit of a boy-o week and we have little quilts for sale that are great for the cot, pram, picnics and visiting nanna! Some limited editions are Kerri's little ship bibs and Dana's vintage aeroplane long-sleeve tops (shown here in size 3). Girly nursery linen currently in production!

cute new additions for winter!

'Tis the season to be snuggly - so we are amping up the heavier weight fabrics and increasing production of the above designs. The appliqued 100% cotton flannelette baby wraps are huge, so soft and super cute. We have new baby windcheaters and track pants in the richest colours and vintage inspired patches and Kerri's new kids' scarves are the perfect size to wrap around cold little necks. Dana has started making little baby leggings to match the 'popover' bibs - all in soft and stretchy cottons and for really messy monkeys we have new bib-smocks in thick vintage towelling and velcro fastening at the back. Whimsical, Warm and Washable!

May happenings...

Some very exciting things have been happening this month! A rack of our designs have been put into Zoo Emporiums' little shop on Ballarat St, Yarraville and so far everything is getting snapped up! We have Eltham Market booked on Sunday May 20th and Kerri has gone to Hawaii on her honeymoon! This has inspired Dana to create "resort wear" for babies. (Despite the weather here in Melbourne!) Oh and hey - watch this space for the opening of our ETSY store which will hopefully be sometime in the next month and for some new stockists such as Meet Me At Mikes in Richmond...

some new designs

Lately we have been focusing more on our baby range and Kerri has been working hard on her singlet and bloomer sets. They make such an adorable gift and all of the fabrics are so cute! The apron frock tops come in size 0 or 1 and even fit some babas up to 2 years as tops. Great in summer with a pair of bloomers or in winter over a spencer or skivvy! Our faves at the moment are the Arizona Rabbit Cowgirl Apron Top with matching bloomers (which would be to-die-for with a pair of these) and the Holly Hobbie Apron Top with frills and vintage buttons. The pink mushroom top is a Size 0 and was a special order for little Charlotte in Dana's Mothers' Group...

Williamstown Festival

Well, we took so many photos of the past weekend that we had to make these mosaics to show them all! We sold some of Claire's cute hand-printed baby suits and Rada's knitted kitties, duckies, beanies and booties. Stay tuned as we will be doing weekly markets over winter and of course Kidface will be at several events in the near future! See some of the happy customers here! If you would like to see more individual and larger pics of stuff for sale - look at our flickr site.

See something you like? We make to order! Email us - marketmamas@gmail.com

Yarraville Festival - February 2007

Our first ever stall! It was so much fun and we got loads of great feedback! The polka-dot bags were a hit! This stall was in cahoots with Dana's sisters' business -
Madame Butterfly Gallery. Have a look! We also did face painting and had so much fun we will continue to do it at future events. Our new face painting venture is called Kidface. You can check it out here. Don't forget to come and see us at Williamstown Festival on Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th March. We've made new things to sell including softie sausage dogs, baby quilts, cute appliqued t-shirts & tops and Holly Hobbie dresses. We also have beautiful baby and childrens sized indian embroidered kaftan tops. See you there!
